In this conference paper for the leading AUTOMATION 2020 congress (VDI Reports No. 2375), our founding team André Schult and Markus Windisch, together with colleagues from Bayer AG, describe how experiential knowledge at production machines can be digitally exchanged and documented using MADDOX. The paper introduces the adaptive search algorithm that analyzes machine and process data during malfunctions and proactively suggests relevant entries from a knowledge base. Furthermore, a pilot project on a complex packaging line is presented, in which MADDOX was tested under real-world conditions. Read now.
